Additionally, the systems must be able to store individual substance information for quick identification. The system must be able to communicate/share information/data with additional systems when purchased at a future date (i.e. have a singular data base for information storage and access), must be capable of editing substance information without connecting to a computer or other device (i.e. what information is entered on one system must be able to be obtained from another). The system library must be tailored to detect every substance present if possible. Minimally, the system must be able to identify topical veterinary analgesics such as lidocaine and benzocaine.
