Description

This requirement is for performance enhancing drugs (PED) tests for Naval Special Warfare Center. Please read and follow the instructions set forth in the solicitation.
Background
This requirement is for performance enhancing drugs (PED) tests for Naval Special Warfare Center as part of the Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP). The requirement is for Steroid Testing Services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment necessary to analyze the human urine specimens for anabolic steroids as defined in the Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2014 and subsequent amendments. This includes Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) testing in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
The estimated number of tests shall accommodate up to 11,000 tests for the base period of performance with an option to add 8,000 additional tests to the base period. In addition to PED tests, this shall also include up to 660 IRMS tests with an option to add 480 tests to the base period. The option year shall include up to 19,000 PED tests and 1,140 IRMS tests.
The vendor shall be able to test specimens in batches, not to exceed 250 specimens. The vendor shall be able to provide a priority testing procedure with report results being reported within 7 business days on average, but not to exceed 10 business days.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from June 23, 2023, to June 22, 2025, with an option year from June 23, 2025, to December 22, 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to NAVY DRUG SCREENING LABORATORY at Great Lakes IL 60088-2952.
