Background
The contract is for performing operations and maintenance (O&M) with repair and minor construction in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) program at Twentynine Palms Naval Hospital Campus, Twentynine Palms, California. The agency has determined that a consolidation of contract requirements is necessary and justified according to 7.107-5.

Work Details
The work includes studies, investigations, designs, repairs, O&M, and construction in support of the DHA program. It involves providing O&M, incidental repair, and minor construction for medical/healthcare facilities on a 24/7 basis. The work also covers preventive, predictive, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance of all facility systems and components including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation. The contractor will need extensive knowledge of technical requirements, code compliance, and patient-related risk.
The purpose is to establish a highly responsive approach to meet the demanding project requirements of the DHA customer.
The operation and maintenance with incidental repair and minor construction requirement at Twentynine Palms Naval Hospital Campus is a single overarching command with multiple subordinating commands located at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC also known as Twentynine Palms).

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be for a one-year base and three one-year option years, totaling four years.

The work will be performed at Twentynine Palms Naval Hospital Campus in Twentynine Palms, California.
