Peoplesoft Application Developer

Background
The Fermi Forward Discovery Group (FFDG) at Fermilab seeks to engage a PeopleSoft Application Developer Consultant due to a temporary workforce shortage. Fermilab maintains a mature PeopleSoft environment primarily for Payroll services and aims to enhance its operational efficiency through this contract. The goal is to secure professional consulting resources with expertise in Oracle PeopleSoft technologies, particularly from vendors familiar with similar organizational structures such as national laboratories, non-profits, or government entities.

Work Details
The consultant will provide on-demand support for the existing PeopleSoft application, including issue handling and advisory services. Key tasks include:
- Assisting with troubleshooting configuration and integration issues.
- Supporting day-to-day operational activities related to PeopleSoft.
- Managing PeopleSoft Tax updates, Open Enrollment, W2 processing, patching, and upgrade activities.
- Designing, coding, testing, and implementing modifications to the PeopleSoft application as assigned.
- Providing business process improvements and configurations.
- Conducting knowledge transfer sessions and training for Fermilab staff.
- Working on service desk tickets and change requests to resolve data issues promptly.
- Maintaining data integrity while performing duties and providing sample testing scenarios for enhancements and defects.
- Delivering weekly status reports on project progress.

Period of Performance
The engagement is expected to last five years, consisting of a base year followed by four option years.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed onshore in the United States.
