PEO Soldier Industry Summit

Background
The Assistant Program Executive Office Soldier (APEO Soldier) is conducting an Industry Summit on 4-5 March 2025 at the Hilton Marks Center in Alexandria, VA. This summit aims to brief industry partners on APEO activities and capabilities while informing them about Project Polaris '26. The event targets Department of Defense contractors and government stakeholders, facilitating engagement and collaboration on modernization efforts.

Work Details
The summit will focus on key tasks including:

- Explaining Project Polaris
- Outlining the vision for the Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) focused Formation Based Architecture
- Detailing current capability roadmaps
- Identifying common integration and interoperability interfaces relevant to the Soldier and Squad platform.

DoD briefers will include representatives from PEO Soldier, Soldier Lethality Cross-Functional Team (SL CFT), Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (MCDID), various Project Managers under PEO S, members of S&T communities, and stakeholders from the Close Combat Integration Enterprise (CCIE). The desired end state is to incorporate feedback from participants into the Polaris’26 document during 2025, ensuring a shared understanding of PEO Soldier’s Modernization Plan.
