Pegasystems Consulting Services and Licenses Extension for BARS - Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity

Background
The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), Central Office, Administration Division, Acquisitions Branch, is seeking a six-month extension to the current Task Order With Options (TOWO), 15BNAS21FW9M10134, procured under FedStore Corporation’s National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise – Wide Procurement (SEWP) (Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) number NNG15SD21B). The Bureau has an existing and continued requirement for Pegasystems perpetual license maintenance and Pega Consulting Services to continue the migration process of the existing Metastorm Business Process Management (BPM) applications and data into the Bureau's Pega environment.

Work Details
The Bureau requires Pegasystems perpetual license maintenance and Pega Consulting Services, including skilled Pega Architects and Project Delivery Lead, to continue the migration process of the existing Metastorm BPM applications and data into the Bureau's Pega environment. The estimated value of this six-month extension is not expected to exceed the period of October 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024.
