GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES This Sources Sought notice is for INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. It does NOT constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. THE INFORMATION FROM THIS MARKET RESEARCH IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND WILL ASSIST THE GOVERNMENT IN PLANNING ITS ACQUISITION STRATEGY. THIS IS STRICTLY MARKET RESEARCH AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ENTERTAIN QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS MARKET RESEARCH. The NAICS codes for this requirement will be 238290. The Elevator Maintenance will be a firm-fixed price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) The Contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, trained labor, supervision, and manufacturer approved supplies, materials, and lubricants necessary to provide full preventive maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and repair service of the complete vertical transportation systems at the following buildings: Peachtree Summit Federal building located at 401 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA. Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center located at 100 Alabama Street SW, Atlanta, GA. All (3) three structures are owned by the United States of America and is managed by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). GSA will serve as the approving agent for this AGREEMENT. Contract Duration: Contract Period: 1 October 2021, ending 30 September 2022. Renewal for the following option periods will be considered on an annual basis. Option Period 1: 1 October 2022, ending 30 September 2023. Option Period 2: 1 October 2023, ending 30 September 2024. Option Period 3: 1 October 2024, ending 30 September 2025. Option Period 4: 1 October 2025, ending 30 September 2026. Equipment covered by this scope of work includes: On-Site Requirements. 1.2.1. The Contractor shall provide qualified elevator mechanics, work crews, and supervisory personnel in such numbers, places, and times as may be required to fully meet the contract requirements. Each contract employee shall sign in when arriving and departing a facility and follow all card access requirements as directed by GSA building management. Contract employees that require access to GSA-controlled facilities shall comply with GSA personal identity verification requirements. Contractor personnel with credentials shall be required to comply with all access security screening procedures applicable to Government or other personnel possessing similar credentials, or as determined by the building practices as defined by the Facility Security Committee. All Contractor personnel possessing credentials (PIV or otherwise) shall visibly display their credentials at all times while in the building(s) where work is being performed. General Contract Requirements. 2.1.1. In accordance with standard elevator industry practice, this is a full maintenance contract. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, repair, test, and clean all vertical transportation equipment (which includes all elevators, escalators, chair lifts, etc.) located on all the contract listed sites. 2.1.2. The Contractor shall accept all vertical transportation systems "as is." Obsolescence is not recognized in the terms of this contract. Except as listed below, no components are excluded from the requirements of this contract. All repairs shall be the Contractor's sole responsibility.
