PBGC Custodian Banking Services

Background
The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Custodian Banking Services. The goal of this contract is to provide global master custody services for the safekeeping and asset servicing of plan assets.

The PBGC's mission is to protect the retirement incomes of over 35 million American workers in private-sector defined benefit pension plans.

Work Details
The contractor will provide custodian bank services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Key tasks include:
1. Safekeeping of plan assets.
2. Asset servicing, including transaction processing, income collection, and corporate actions.
3. Reporting on asset holdings and transactions.
4. Providing access to a secure online platform for clients to view their accounts and transactions.
5. Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to custodial services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple periods, starting from January 2025 through May 2035, with specific performance periods defined for various service items.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the contractor's facilities, with specific interactions occurring at the PBGC office located at 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, D.C.
