PATRIOT M903 Launching Stations   2

This is a notice of intent to solicit a sole source Fixed Price-Incentive Firm (FPIF) requirement, under the authority of Title 10 United States Code 3204 (a)(7) and regulatory authority in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302, Public Interest , from Raytheon Technologies (RTX), 350 Lowell St, Andover, Massachusetts, 01810- 4400, Commercial and Government Entity Code 05716, for the procurement of the Lower Tier Interceptor (LTI) Phased Array Tracking Radar to Interception Target (PATRIOT) M903 Launching Stations.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, engineering and technical support necessary to produce a total quantity of 18 LTI PATRIOT M903 Launching Stations, PATRIOT Initial Associated Items (PIAI), and associated initial spares. This shall include all new production hardware, system software, inspection, production test support, program management, configuration management, hazardous material management, obsolescence management, safety, and documentation for the production of the LTI M903 PATRIOT Launching Stations.

RTX is the original designer, developer, system integrator and prime contractor for the PATRIOT Weapon System (WS). RTX has the proprietary data, manufacturing processes, and test equipment that will be utilized in the performance of this effort. The technical data package is not currently available for this synopsis, and it will not be available prior to solicitation.

The USG intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Offerors are encouraged to contact RTX for subcontracting opportunities for this effort. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued to any contractor other than RTX. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
