The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), Florida in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.

Background
The solicitation is for grounds maintenance services at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) in Florida. The contractor is required to provide non-personal services, including personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other necessary items and services to ensure the maintenance of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants at PSFB.

Work Details
The tasks to be completed under the contract include maintaining improved grounds, semi-improved grounds, bird area strike hazard (BASH), unimproved grounds, vegetative beds, inert beds, and related areas. This involves mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal, fertilization, pest and weed control, lawn repair, pruning shrubs and hedges, maintaining surface drainage ditches, emergency and special events services, xeriscaping, specialty cuts, planting trees and shrubs.

The contract also includes quality control measures such as pre-performance conference, service delivery plan/schedule, quality control plan, contractor safety plan, quality assurance methods and periodic progress meetings.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 1 January 2024 onwards.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) in Florida.
