Background
Patrick Space Force Base is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal services for the maintenance and upkeep of the Schobel Softball Field. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the athletic field is maintained in a professional manner, supporting both direct mission requirements and special events such as sports tournaments. The anticipated requirement falls under a small business set-aside program.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to perform maintenance on the softball field. Tasks include: mowing, trimming, fertilizing, replacing/installing sod, over-seeding, watering and irrigation maintenance, aeration, pest/disease control, top dressing and repair.

The Contractor must ensure that all playing surfaces are clean and maintained throughout the contract period. Specific requirements include: maintaining grass to be disease-free and resilient to Florida's climate; ensuring skinned areas are level and free from obstructions; supporting special events by preparing fields as per game schedules provided by FSS representatives; complying with environmental laws during work performance; developing an AGM Plan of Action that outlines maintenance methods and schedules; conducting quality control inspections; and submitting corrective action reports for any deficiencies.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is set for a 12-month term starting from May 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Patrick Space Force Base in Florida.
