Patoka Hydraulic System Repair IFB

Background
The Patoka Hydraulic System Repair project is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specifically the Louisville District. The mission of this project is to repair and upgrade the hydraulic system at Patoka Lake, ensuring its operational efficiency and compliance with applicable regulations. The estimated construction cost for this project ranges between $500,000 and $1 million.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all mobilization, de-mobilization, fuel, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the following tasks:

- Upgrade the hydraulic components of the hydraulic control panel;
- Replace all valves;
- Replace hydraulic piping and fittings with new stainless-steel components;
- Refill the system with AW32 hydraulic fluids;
- Provide one additional 55-gallon drum of AW32 hydraulic fluid upon completion.

The contractor must also ensure that all work complies with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Additionally, under the optional tasks, the contractor may be required to modernize the hydraulic control panel structure and electrical components; adjust wedges on multi-level gates #1 and #4; and replace additional hydraulic piping and fittings with new stainless-steel components above elevation 556.0. The contractor is responsible for disposing of any removed debris in accordance with state and federal requirements.
