Pathology Support for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences   3

Background
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is issuing a solicitation for pathology support services. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for non-clinical laboratory studies as specified in Part 58, which is critical for the integrity and reliability of toxicological research.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing personnel to support required capabilities including: Toxicologic Pathologists, Immunohistochemistry Pathologists, Imaging Sciences Research Associates, Histologists/Histotechnologists, and Immunohistochemistry Technicians.

Additionally, personnel to support elective options may include Electron Microscopists, Veterinary Anatomic Pathologists specializing in Mouse Embryology, Biology Research Associates, Laboratory Animal Veterinarians, Medical or Veterinary Technologists, and Laboratory Animal Medicine Technical Support Specialists. All laboratories performing core work must meet GLP compliance requirements. Key personnel such as the Principal Investigator (PI) and Program Manager (PM) must be employees of the prime contractor.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance includes a base period of one year with nine successive one-year option periods, expected to commence on or before July 2025.
