PAS: Future Ready Nepal: Workforce Skills for the Next Generation

Background
The U.S. Embassy Kathmandu, Nepal, is initiating a nationwide workforce development initiative called 'Future Ready Nepal: Workforce Skills for the Next Generation.' This program aims to enhance English language proficiency, leadership skills, career readiness, and professional skills among young Nepalis while fostering long-term engagement with the United States.

The initiative will provide practical training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help participants compete in today's workforce and connect with U.S.-aligned educational and career pathways. Programming will be delivered through American Spaces and partner institutions across Nepal.

Work Details
The contract will involve the following tasks and services:

1. Development and delivery of workforce training programs focusing on English language skills, leadership development, career readiness, and professional skills.
2. Implementation of mentorship programs that connect participants with professionals in relevant fields.
3. Creation of networking opportunities that facilitate connections between young Nepalis and U.S.-aligned educational institutions or career pathways.
4. Coordination with American Spaces and partner institutions across Nepal to ensure effective program delivery.

Period of Performance
The anticipated performance period for this contract is one year.
