Parts Washer Service

Background
This solicitation is issued by the Directorate of Logistics at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, for Parts Washer Service. The contract is set aside for small businesses, specifically women-owned small businesses, to provide maintenance and repair services for government-owned parts washer equipment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, transportation, labor, materials, supplies, and tools to perform maintenance and repair work for four government-owned parts washer equipment installed at East Range buildings 6017 (1EA), 6018 (1EA), and 6065 (2EA) on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Services include testing/recycling/disposal of non-hazardous petroleum oil and lubricant products and solvent. The contractor must adhere to OSHA standards and relevant federal, state, and county laws. Maintenance involves servicing/repairing parts washers and replacing the solvent every 17 weeks using P-D-680 Type III or better cleaning solution. The contractor shall replace filters as required and dispose of used solvent for recycling.

A maintenance service work schedule must be submitted five days before the scheduled maintenance month. The contractor must also submit a disposal/recycle plan within ten days after award.

Period of Performance
The contract period spans from May 1, 2023, to April 28, 2028, with specific performance periods: May 1, 2023 - April 30, 2024; May 1, 2024 - April 30, 2025; May 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026; May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027; May 3, 2027 - April 28, 2028.
