Background
The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) owns and operates a fleet of 4 DHC-2 MK1 Beaver aircraft, which are used for various missions including fire, search and rescue, law enforcement, fisheries support, survey flights, and resource missions. These aircraft require overhaul or replacement of components at specific intervals to minimize out-of-service time and ensure mission readiness. The USDA Forest Service is committed to land stewardship and public service, providing leadership in the protection, management, and use of the nation’s forest, rangeland, and aquatic ecosystems.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide overhauled components for the DHC-2 Beavers (N191Z, N192Z, N193Z) in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's overhaul manuals, service bulletins, service letters, and airworthiness directives. The contractor must deliver the components within 45 days of the award of the solicitation. Additionally, the contractor must provide warranty repair/replacement for work accomplished and shipping to and from the Ely Seaplane Base located in Ely, MN.

The contract work will be performed at the Ely Seaplane Base located in Ely, MN.
