Partnership for Analytics Research in Traffic Safety (PARTS) Continued Research   3

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to continue research under the Partnership for Analytics Research in Traffic Safety (PARTS). The goal is to enhance vehicle safety performance analysis using non-federal vehicle-level information combined with non-sensitive federal data, including highway crash data.

This initiative supports USDOT's mission of improving safety and innovation in transportation by leveraging collaborative research efforts among various stakeholders, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and external organizations.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a series of tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW):
1) Partnership and Project Management, which includes developing an updated Project Work Plan, managing governance rules, updating cooperative agreements, and onboarding new participants;
2) Data Ingestion, Management, Analysis, and Research, which involves incorporating new data from partners and conducting research analyses;
3) Communications for CY2026, which includes organizing meetings and preparing communication materials;
4) Novel Research Development & Execution focused on advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS);
5) Infrastructure-related novel research development.

Deliverables include updated project plans, research reports, communication materials, and summaries of partnership activities.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to be executed over the fiscal years 2026-2027.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place at locations determined by the contractor and partners involved in the PARTS initiative.
