Part A/B Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) Jurisdiction 15 (15) RFP   3

Background
The purpose of this contract is to obtain a Part A/Part B (A/B) Medicare Administrative Contractor (hereinafter referred to as “the contractor” or “MAC” or “A/B MAC”) to provide specified health insurance benefit administration services, including Medicare claims processing and payment services, in support of the “traditional” Medicare program for Jurisdiction 15. Jurisdiction 15 includes the states of Kentucky and Ohio.

The J15 MAC is also responsible for processing Medicare Home Health Hospice (HHH) billings for the states of: Delaware, District of Columbia, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Work Details
The contract type anticipated is Cost Reimbursement with the primary pricing arrangement expected to be Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF). The contract will include task directives which may be fixed-price or cost reimbursement. The period of performance for completion of all work included in this contract shall be from the effective date of contract award through 12 months, plus six one-year options. The deliverable schedule is provided under Section J as Attachment J.02 and shall be made a part of this contract.

Place of Performance
