Parking Lot Restriping

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for a one-time service to restripe the parking lots and roads at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. The goal of this contract is to enhance visibility, safety, and overall traffic flow on the campus. This solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform restriping of the parking lots and roads. The work includes:

- Removal of old markings;
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces;
- Application of new pavement markings for parking spaces, handicap spots, road lines, pedestrian crosswalks, directional arrows, and other necessary symbols;
- Compliance with relevant codes and standards.

All work must meet the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards and ADA requirements. The contractor is responsible for any damage caused to VA property during the execution of the work.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Marion VA Medical Center located at 2401 West Main St., Marion, IL.
