Background
The Saylorville Lake Project, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is a flood control reservoir located in Johnston, Iowa. It features various recreational facilities including boat launching ramps, campgrounds, marinas, picnic areas, and swimming beaches. The goal of this contract is to provide custodial services at the Cottonwood Recreation Area to maintain cleanliness and enhance visitor experience.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform custodial services at the Cottonwood Recreation Area. This includes daily cleaning tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and general upkeep of park facilities. The Contractor must ensure that all services are performed consistently throughout the recreational season, which spans from April 11 to October 12 each year. Specific requirements include:
- A two-person team is required for daily operations.
- Personnel must be physically capable of performing outdoor work under various weather conditions.
- Contractors must attend a pre-work training conference and submit an Accident Prevention Plan, Contingency Plan, and Quality Control Plan prior to commencing work.
- Contractors are required to live on-site in a self-contained RV for the duration of the contract period.

Period of Performance
Base Year: April 11, 2025 through April 10, 2026; Option Year I: April 11, 2026 through April 10, 2027; Option Year II: April 11, 2027 through October 10, 2027.
