Background
The Legal Programs Office is responsible for providing general executive assistance and direction, policy development, legal research and support, administrative management direction and oversight, operational support, and liaison services for the 94 United States Attorneys’ offices (USAOs). The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) was created to provide for close liaison between the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, D.C., and the 94 United States Attorneys located throughout the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Marianas Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U. S. Virgin Islands.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a dedicated and experienced paralegal capable of supporting the Legal Programs Office including:
1. Provide paralegal support to various legal program areas such as performing basic legal research using a variety of automated legal research tools, participating in meetings with attorneys and other Government personnel, assisting with preparing surveys and evaluations, drafting non-legal memoranda and correspondence, preparing training materials for conferences and events;
2. Provide administrative support to Legal Programs including day-to-day administrative functions, vetting and responding to inquiries via phone and email, managing information and documents using SharePoint or other software;
3. Provide assistance and support for program area related events, presentations, and webinars offered by Legal Programs.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be one base year from 09/25/2023 to 09/24/2024 with four one-year options extending to 09/24/2028.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at EOUSA, 175 N Street NE, 3 Constitution Square NE, Washington, DC 20530.
