Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC) has prepared this Brand Name Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition. This is a brand name justification to cover Palo Alto Networks’ software license and maintenance support that will be procured in support of the Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO)’s Homeland Security Enterprise Network (HSEN).

Work Details
Palo Alto Software license and maintenance support for the Homeland Security Enterprise Network (HSEN) at the colocation facilities (Equinix East/West). The OCIO’s Enterprise Operations Division (EOD) has identified the need to procure Palo Alto Networks branded software license and maintenance support. The intent is to award a brand name firm fixed price contract for a base plus four option years restricting consideration to items peculiar to one manufacturer. The action being requested is a new award with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.

Period of Performance
The performance period for the delivery order is: 6/27/2022 - 6/26/2023

Place of Performance
The licenses included within this ELA consists of the following: DHS Homeland Security Enterprise Network (HSEN) has a requirement at the colocation facilities (Equinix East/West) for Palo Alto Networks Enterprise License and Support Agreement.
