Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division is seeking commercial packing and crating services to support their Command Mission. They require these services to be accomplished within two weeks of material receipt, and also have a requirement to crate existing spares on hand in advance of need for shipment to reduce logistics delay time as well as occasional two-day response time for emergent Casualty Report (CASREP) issues.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the pickup of material to be packed and/or crated from the specified site, signing a DD1149 document for receipt of material as proof of custody transfer to the vendor, and releasing crated material to contract carriers for shipment. The number of crates required and their sizes vary based on material requirements. The period of performance for this contract is from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Vendor shall be within a 75-mile radius from Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme California.
