Pa-John Heinz NWR-Termite Treatment

Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is issuing this solicitation for termite inspection and treatment services at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, Pennsylvania. The goal of this contract is to protect the structures from subterranean termite activity through professional inspection and treatment services, ensuring the integrity of the buildings over time.

Work Details
The contractor will provide professional termite inspection and treatment services for the exterior perimeter of three connected buildings totaling approximately 1,178 square feet. The scope of work includes:

- Conducting an initial thorough inspection of all accessible areas to identify signs of termite activity or conditions conducive to infestation;
- Documenting findings and providing recommendations;
- Installing in-ground Sentricon termite bait stations at appropriate intervals along the exterior perimeter;
- Performing at least one follow-up inspection during the term of the agreement;
- Providing retreatment if termite activity is detected.

All work must be performed by a licensed and certified pest control professional, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and legal requirements.

Period of Performance
Initial installation shall be completed by August 1, 2025, with monitoring and maintenance services continuing through August 1, 2026.
