P5001 - Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Siemens (DDC) Direct Digital Control   4

Background
NAVFAC Washington intends to award a sole source contract to SIEMENS BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES, INC., to provide a Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for HVAC and other building control systems in the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. This is in accordance with 6.302-1(a)(2) 'When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source.'

Work Details
The use of Siemens direct digital control system and components will be required for all projects that require a connection to the 'BACNet Standard' and UFGS 23 09 23.02 (BACNet Based BCS) approved specification and standards installation network facilities control and monitoring system. The system shall include, but is not limited to, stand-alone digital controllers, modular building controller, terminal equipment controller, a communications network and a separate workstation computer with workstation software.
Filters, planned maintenance, corrective/reactive maintenance, internal monitoring and control.

Period of Performance
This office anticipates award of a contract for these services in March 2022.
