Background
The solicitation is for the construction of a P197 Aircraft Maintenance Hangar and Parking Garage at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The work involves the installation of bridge cranes and other equipment as per the provided specifications.

Work Details
The work includes providing and installing bridge cranes, under running, for the aircraft maintenance hangar. The crane design criteria include providing under running, double girder bridge overhead electric traveling crane(s) (OET), with under running trolley mounted hoist, conforming to MHI MH27.1, CMAA 70, and CMAA 74 service class C for operation in an indoor environment, hazardous area service, meeting the requirements of ASME B30.16 and ASME B30.17. The crane must operate in an NFPA 70 Class I , Division 2 , Group C hazardous area. The hazardous protection is required for the 20 feet above floor level. The crane span must be 95 feet with a vertical lift of 29.5 feet.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.
