P002 CYBERSECURITY OPERATIONS FACILITY at FORT MEADE, MARYLAND   3

Background
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is issuing a Sources Sought Notice for the P002 Cybersecurity Operations Facility project at Fort Meade, Maryland. This notice is intended for market research purposes only to determine the availability of Brand Name items and does not constitute a request for bids or proposals. The goal of this contract is to acquire specific proprietary items necessary for the construction of a facility that meets regulatory requirements.

Work Details
The construction project will include both Brand Name only and Brand Name or Equal equipment. The specific requirements are as follows:

1. Brand Name Only: Fire Alarm Radio Transmitter (Parts) Monaco - The fire alarm system must transmit signals to a constantly attended central station, specifically compatible with the existing Monaco D-21 receiver used by the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES)/Fire Department at Fort Meade. Any alternative manufacturer would not be acceptable as it would prevent proper signal transmission to the Base Fire Department.

2. Brand Name or Equal: Fire Alarm Radio Transmitter – Monaco - The specifications require addressable devices, panels, and notification appliances in compliance with UFC 4-021-01 Mass Notification System Code, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and Fort Meade Installation Regulation 420-7.

The construction projects will be performed at Fort Meade, Maryland.
