Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Denver Service Center (DSC), is soliciting proposals on a full and open basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. The project aims to restore the park’s scenic features by removing unneeded, abandoned, and potentially dangerous structures and supporting infrastructure, and returns the sites to their natural conditions, enhancing the visitor experience. Completion of this project removes unstable and non-mission-critical assets, eliminates serious safety risks to park staff, improves scenic views, and enhances the visitor experience.

Work Details
The project will require the design and construction of demolition at various locations including Boulder Beach, Echo Bay, and Overton Beach. Demolition associated with water and wastewater systems include water tanks, a treatment plant and associated storage tanks, a treatment building, a wastewater system and lagoons, multiple mobile restrooms and dump stations, and comfort stations.

The project will also demolish the Echo Bay Motel, concession facilities, a ranger station, housing units, a campground, a launch ramp, and all associated roads and parking areas, and utilities.
