P-8A Poseidon BRU-75/BRU-76 Bomb Racks   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on an other than full and open competition basis with EDO Corporation (EDO), a subsidery of Harris Corporation, 1500 New Horizons Blvd., Amityville, NY 11701-1130. The anticipated order is for the required effort to procure P-8A Poseidon BRU-75 and BRU-76 bomb racks, technical data, and engineering support. This action shall be procured pursuant of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." EDO, is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the BRU-75 and BRU-76 bomb racks integrated into the Navy's P-8A platform with the detailed knowledge to allow them to perform the update in a timely and cost effective manner.
