P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair IDIQ MAC Order N0001923F0226 Modification

On 20 December 2023, Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, 47123 Buse Road, Bldg 2272, Patuxent River, MD 20670 issued a $285,104 modification to P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ MAC) N0001918D0110 Order N0001923F0226 on a sole source basis to Standard Aero Inc. of San Antonio, TX. The Order was issued to Standard Aero resulting from a fair opportunity competition among IDIQ MAC holders. The modification not only decreases requirements and corresponding prices, and increases the price of an existing time-and-materials contract line item, but also the modification is issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract for the procurement of High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Stator modules refurbishments and the incorporation of a technical directive on engines inducted at Standard Aero's facility located in Winnipeg Canada.
