Background
The contract is for the P-8 Commercial Repair Long Term Contract. The P-8A program involves Boeing Commercial Derivative Aircraft 737-800, with prime missions including ASW, ASuW, and ISR. The program has been in operation since November 2013 and has a current aircraft population of 137. It also involves support locations/detachments globally and is a cooperative program with the Royal Australian Air Force and other countries. The contract aims to provide repair/overhaul/modify services for various components and parts of the P-8A aircraft.

Work Details
The Statement of Work includes repair/overhaul/modify work with FAA Part 145 repair stations, providing acceptance documentation, modifying items, levels of repair, PMIC/overhaul items, PMA parts, spare parts, SRC/EHR cards, and BER/BPR/MOI/EI/PQDR.
It also involves reporting through the CAV-RP (Commercial Asset Visibility Repairables Portal) system, which provides real-time visibility of location, condition, and quantity of repairable assets to NAVSUP. The CAV-RP reporting categories include goods receipt, repair status tracking, shipment, RP reports, and RP misc.
Additionally, the CAV SOW requires CAV-RP transactions to be reported within 5 business days after the occurrence of a reportable event and mandates an annual physical wall-to-wall inventory.

Period of Performance
The contract is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type with a 5-year timeframe. The contract minimum dollar value is $1M and the maximum dollar value is $95M.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations globally where the P-8A aircraft are stationed or require repair services.
