Description

This project constructs a partitioned addition to Dry Dock #1 (DD1) within the existing superflood basin area. The addition will consist of two bays, labeled Drydock #1 North (DD1N) and Drydock #1 West (DD1W). New construction will include precast and cast-in-place concrete floors, walls, and center wall separating DD1N and DD1W, new pump well systems, pump station building, 237990portal crane rails, mooring hardware, mechanical and electrical utilities, utility tunnels, and all appurtenances required to ensure an operational dry dock. Modifications will be made to the existing basin closure wall and to Berths 1 and 11 to prevent undermining and support fully dewatered conditions.
