Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic (NAVFAC LANT) intends to issue a request for proposal for a Design‐Bid‐Build, Firm Fixed Price contract for construction of P-332/P-334, Design-Bid-Build, Electrical Power Plant at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The project is anticipated to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract with a completion time of approximately 1,348 days after notice to proceed. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a new electrical Power Plant building comprised of a high bay Engine hall housing five 4.5 megawatt diesel generators and a single-story, low-roof area including a power plant control room and other plant operations support spaces with a total building area of approximately 2400 square meters. Additionally, remote coolers, required cybersecurity, paving/site improvement, site utilities (electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, etc.), and required demolition will also be provided.
Project P334 will be included as an option and consists of a second set of five 4.5 megawatt generators, associated remote coolers, new fuel farm storage tanks (uncovered), emergency/backup fuel off-load facility, required cybersecurity, supporting facilities, and required demolition.

The completion time for this contract is approximately 1,348 days after notice to proceed.

The project site is located at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
