Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Brand Name commercial item prepared (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will utilize the code 336310, Motor Vehicle Gasoline Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1050 Employees and PSC 2815. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a remanufactured complete Detroit Diesel engine rebuilt to meet or exceed Vehicle OEM horsepower and torque specifications, 575 horsepower and 1550 lb/ft torque, using OEM or better components with a parts warranty of no less than 1 year/100,000 miles/1600hours. The engine should be delivered to Fairchild AFB, WA. The core engine shall be returned to the contractor no later than 60 days from receipt of the above engine. The shipping cost required to provide the unit to and return from Fairchild AFB, WA should be included.
