Owyhee Desert Herbicide Weed Treatment   3

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office is issuing a contract for the ground-based application of herbicides to control invasive and/or noxious weeds on approximately 4,247 acres of BLM administered land in Elko County, NV.
The goal of this contract is to manage and mitigate the impact of these invasive species, thereby supporting the agency's mission of conserving public lands and resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Application of contractor furnished herbicide, adjuvant, and dye on approximately 4,247 acres as per the Statement of Work and supporting documents.
2. Terrestrial Tank Mix application includes:
- 2,4-D at 32 ounces/acre (0.95 lb. ae/acre)
- Chlorsulfuron at 1 ounce/acre (0.0375 lb AI/acre)
- Non-ionic surfactant (rate as specified on label)
- Dye
3. Water's Edge Tank Mix application includes:
- Up to water's edge approved 2,4-D at 64 ounces/acre (1.9 lb. ae/acre)
- Up to water's edge approved non-ionic surfactant (rate as specified on label)
- Dye
4. The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including the Service Contract Act (SCA).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 2, 2025, to July 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Elko County, Nevada.
