Over Armor Kit

Background
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is conducting market research and seeking information regarding available ballistic resistant soft body armor which meet all the requirements of the FBI. While this RFI is not a request for proposal or quote, the FBI intends to utilize data received from this RFI to assist in formulating final requirements for an upcoming request for proposal (RFP).

Work Details
The FBI is seeking ballistic resistant soft body armor that meets specific characteristics. These include being intended for overt law enforcement operations, capable of supporting standard SAPI sized plates, available in male and female-specific models, and with ballistic coverage on the side of the torso and shoulder straps. The armor kit shall also come with specific pouches, exterior features, and high-visibility identification placards. Additionally, detailed sizing instructions and preferably sizing kits should be available for purchase.
