Description

SDVOSB Sole Source as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute).

VA New Mexico Healthcare System (NMVAHCS) has a requirement to replace, upgrade, and expand overhead patient lift capability in addition to enhancing the patient care lifting experience by reducing lifting injuries to staff and patients. The current lifts have exceeded their useful life expectancy with many deemed inoperable, classified as unsafe by the NMVAHCS Biomedical Engineering Staff and have been removed from service.
