Background
The Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to qualify and overhaul the UH-1N Main Rotor Hub Assembly. The assembly is a flight Critical Safety item (CSI) used on the USAF UH-1N helicopter and requires overhaul as detailed in Air Force technical orders. The government intends to award a competitive contract for the overhaul of the UH-1N Main Rotor Hub Assembly using Full and Open Competition as prescribed by 6.102.

Work Details
The Main Rotor Hub Assembly, with National Stock Numbers (NSNs) 1615-01-509-9741 and 1615-01-509-9742, is a commercial item manufactured by Bell Helicopter. It has time change requirements and potential bidders must possess official certification as a Bell authorized service center for Component Repair & Overhaul for Bell 205 and 212 model helicopters.
