Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510, on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), is soliciting quotes to perform top end overhauls on two (2) 3508B engines and maintenance on the two (2) 3512B engines and one (1) 3306 Emergency Diesel Generator on board NOAA Ship PISCES and to perform maintenance on two (2) 3512 engines and two (2) 3408 ship's service generator sets on board NOAA Ship OREGON II.

Background
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510, on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), is soliciting quotes to perform top end overhauls on two (2) 3508B engines and maintenance on the two (2) 3512B engines and one (1) 3306 Emergency Diesel Generator on board NOAA Ship PISCES. Additionally, the contractor is required to perform maintenance on two (2) 3512 engines and two (2) 3408 ship’s service generator sets on board NOAA Ship OREGON II.

Work Details
Description: Overhaul/Repair/Maintenance of CATERPILLAR Engines and Ship GENSETS on board NOAA Ships PISCES and OREGON II. The work includes completing a top end overhaul on the two Caterpillar 3508B engines, replacement of the Local Control Panels, and maintenance on the 3512s and 3306 Emergency Diesel Generator. The serial numbers for the engines and generator are provided. The contractor is required to adhere to Caterpillar service, maintenance, and overhaul technical manuals, including all current and applicable amendments and service bulletins.
