Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent, with multiple prior USCG awards for HC-144 starter generator overhauls awarded to Safran Power Usa, including contracts 70Z03825PA0000468 (7 starter generators, $124,236) and 70Z03826PA0000018 (starter generators line items 1–7, $104,403), as well as other recent Safran awards for starter generator overhauls supporting the same aircraft. The prior work is described as overhaul of starter generators for the HC-144 and aligns with the current RFQ’s requirement to overhaul the same type of component (starter generator) under FAA airworthiness/COC documentation and OEM parts traceability, suggesting continuity in sustainment of this specific fleet component.
