Description

IAW FAR 12.603 a combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is issued via the attachment.

The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma intends to negotiate a contract containing Firm Fixed Price type Contract Line Item Numbers for the acquisition of repair/overhaul services on the Augmentor Fuel Control and Pump (NSNs 2915013097888NZ & 2915013102141NZ, PNs 4071353 & 4070290, respectively) to support the F100-PW-229 Engine.

This combined synopsis and solicitation is issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8121-20-R-0002 and is a sole source requirement to Hamilton Sundstrand, Corp. (CAGE 73030).

This requirement is anticipated to be a total of five years, composed of a 3-year basic and two 1-year option periods. Upon issuance of the combined synopsis and solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.

Each Offeror agrees to hold proposed prices firm for 180 days. Each Offeror agrees to furnish and deliver all items set forth in this solicitation subject to the terms and conditions specified herein.

Release of Solicitations in Advance of Funding Availability

Except for solicitations and contracts issued in accordance with FAR 32.703-2(a) and clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds, follow the procedures below when issuing solicitations in advance of available funds:

(a) The following statement must be included in any such solicitation: Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
