Out of Production Materiel of Abrams Family of Vehicles   2

Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to issue a sole source solicitation to General Dynamics Land Systems, Inc. for obsolescence management services and hardware consisting of market surveillance, Technical Data Package (TDP) surveillance, obsolescence analysis, recommended obsolescence resolution, obsolescent component procurement, and the storage of obsolescent components for the Abrams Family of Vehicles (FoV). The solicitation will be sole source in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The solicitation is planned to result in a 5 year (base plus 4 option years), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in the 2nd quarter of Fiscal Year 2019.

Although it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Dynamics Land Systems, Inc. (CAGE Code 7W356), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as synopsis. The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available for a minimum of 15 days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the buyer(s) or Procuring Contracting Officer seeking a copy of the solicitation (or other data) as none will be available until the solicitation is issued.
