Background
The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate has awarded a firm-fixed price bridge contract to Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (BAH) to provide administrative, management, policy, and operational support services to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)).

This action is justified as a sole source award due to the necessity for continuity of services while a competitive follow-on contract is being prepared.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive technical, professional, administrative, management, policy, and operational support capabilities essential for the day-to-day operations of OUSD(I&S). Specific tasks include:
- Coordinating with WHS Financial Management Directorate on the President’s budget for FY2025.
- Ensuring compliance with ongoing personnel and Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements.
- Responding to urgent manpower and personnel requests.
- Supporting secure communications and facility operations.
- Assisting in the development of the President’s budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
- Managing personnel security activities critical to the I&S mission.
- Addressing manpower and personnel initiatives to mitigate hiring delays.

Period of Performance
June 1, 2024 – September 27, 2024 with an optional six-month extension from September 28, 2024 - March 27, 2025.
