The primary objective is to update and teach the DAU Grants 201 course to train DoD personnel in a virtualinstructor-led training(VILT) environment, focusing on the basic operational and functional understanding ofassistance instruments, including grants and cooperative agreements, as they apply to DoD assistance awards.Course materials will be continuously refined and maintained to enhance the expertise of DoD personnel. Thefrequency of the course offerings and course updates may vary from year to year so the Government is using anindefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity type contract.

Background
The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) was established on August 1, 1992, to provide mandatory, assignment-specific, and continuing education courses for military and civilian acquisition personnel within the Department of Defense (DoD).

As the DoD corporate university for acquisition education, DAU develops and sponsors a full range of courses to support the professional development of the Acquisition Workforce. The DAU Grants 201 course is designed to provide foundational knowledge required to work as a grants or agreements officer, focusing on grants and cooperative agreements relevant to DoD assistance awards.

Work Details
The contractor will update and teach the DAU Grants 201 course in a virtual instructor-led training (VILT) environment. Responsibilities include:
- Updating and maintaining course materials continuously to enhance DoD personnel expertise.
- Utilizing existing course material provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI).
- Providing one initial course update and one subsequent update per year, with additional updates as needed based on mission requirements.
- Delivering training that includes historical and current laws applicable to grants and agreements, differences between grants and cooperative agreements, and appropriate award administration procedures during pre-award, award, and post-award phases.
- Conducting knowledge and proficiency testing to evaluate student progress.
- Ensuring all course materials comply with federal regulations including 2 CFR 200 and DGARS as described in DoD Instruction 3210.06.
- Performing technical editing on all deliverables to ensure grammatical correctness and absence of typographical errors.
