Background
The Vicksburg District (MVK) has determined that a consolidation of contract requirements is necessary and justified for Ouachita River Basin, Ouachita & Caldwell Parishes, P.L. 84-99 Emergency Bank Stabilization, River Mile 159-108, Sites 1-6 within the Vicksburg District or Other Districts within the Mississippi Valley Division. The consolidation of requirements is deemed necessary and justified due to the potential number of efforts to be executed in support of MVK’s Civil Works program, and the advantages of a consolidated approach substantially exceed the benefits of an approach that provides less consolidation.

Work Details
The scope of work includes emergency bank stabilization projects within the Ouachita River Basin, Ouachita & Caldwell Parishes, specifically at River Mile 159-108, Sites 1-6. The consolidation of two or more discrete construction projects within the Vicksburg District is necessary and justified based on sound business judgment in view of the size and complexity of the efforts to be executed in support of MVK’s Civil Works program.
