OSW - WHS - Conduit Project - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for a stand-alone project at the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ). The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) requires the installation of conduit to support new security cameras in various strategic locations, including inside their armory, Security Operations Center, and patio areas outside their Pavilion. This initiative aims to enhance security monitoring capabilities within these critical areas.

The scope of work involves providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, and materials for installing conduit that will accommodate security cameras installed by PFPA. Contractors are expected to verify existing pathways for cabling and install new conduits where necessary. All installations must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, contractors must ensure that electrical receptacles and feed locations are properly labeled and provide as-built drawings upon completion.

This project also includes specific tasks such as painting exposed conduits to match ceiling colors and repairing any drywall or ceiling tiles affected by the installation process. The work will be performed at 7700 Arlington Boulevard in Virginia during standard business hours from Monday through Friday. The contract type is firm fixed price with a period of performance set for six months from the award date.
