OR UNION 101 (1) North Powder River Lane Reconstruction

Background
The project involves the reconstruction of North Powder River Lane in Oregon. The project is being overseen by the FHWA, Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) and is authorized under the programmatic 1200-CA permit. The project aims to reconstruct the existing paved road and gravel shoulders, repair, replace, and clean culverts.

Work Details
The construction activities include clearing, excavating, grading, fill of roadway embankment, backfill at structures, vehicle/equipment fueling and maintenance, vehicle/equipment use and storage, sanitary/septic waste disposal, dewatering operations, drilling and blasting operations, concrete washout and waste management, structure construction/painting/cleaning, demolition and debris disposal, solid waste management, hazardous waste or contaminated spills management, paving operations, landscaping operations, and mining/rock extraction/crushing.
The project area covers approximately 19.007 acres with 1 acre designated as disturbed project area.
The project does not discharge stormwater into a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System.
