Option Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville Landscaping

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Station Mayport is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Services for the Station Mayport and Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville Annex Building.

This initiative aims to ensure consistent performance in maintaining the grounds, which is critical to mission success. The contract will be negotiated with a contractor who can meet the service requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and management necessary to perform the following services:

1. Grass Cutting/Mowing and Trimming to a height of no more than 2 inches.
2. Edging-Turf and Weeding flowerbeds.
3. Weed Eradication when approved by CG representative.
4. Maintenance, Care, and Landscaping of Trees, Shrubbery, and Plants.
5. Annual pruning of all existing palm trees and other trees before hurricane season (May-June).
6. Removal and disposal of litter/refuse prior to and after mowing.
7. Sweeping sidewalks & streets; disposing of clippings and debris off Station afterwards.

The work must comply with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
