Background
The Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is responsible for the management and security of the nation's nuclear weapons, nonproliferation, and naval nuclear propulsion programs.

The Savannah River Site (SRS) plays a critical role in supporting the enduring nuclear weapons stockpile, processing and storing nuclear materials, and environmental management cleanup. This contract aims to provide comprehensive management and operational support for NNSA activities at SRS, ensuring alignment with national security missions and objectives.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a range of tasks under six Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs):
1) Contract transition;
2) NNSA Management and Operation of SRS;
3) Non-NNSA Management and Operations;
4) NNSA Capital Construction;
5) Environmental Management Capital Construction projects;
6) Strategic Partnership Projects (SPP). Specific tasks include:
- Supporting the nuclear weapons stockpile mission by providing tritium and plutonium pits as per NNSA guidance.
- Managing financial systems to ensure transparency in cost reporting.
- Implementing integrated safety management, cybersecurity protocols, and environmental compliance measures.
- Conducting operational activities related to Tritium Program, Plutonium Pit Production Operations, Stockpile Management, Nuclear Nonproliferation efforts, and Environmental Management.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders including DOE/NNSA laboratories to enhance technical capabilities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over multiple years with specific timelines established for various phases including transition, operational management, construction projects, and ongoing support activities.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be the Savannah River Site (SRS), which spans approximately 310 square miles across Aiken, Allendale, and Barnwell Counties in South Carolina.
