Description

The Department of Labor (DOL), on behalf of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Job Corps (OJC), has a requirement for NTC Painting services and support in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. DOL anticipates that this requirement will result in the award of a
Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) Firm Target type contract. Eligible vendors shall provide technical and price proposals by the applicable due date per block 8 on this form. Any discount terms are highly encouraged.

Background
The Department of Labor (DOL), on behalf of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Job Corps (OJC), has a requirement for NTC Painting services and support. Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor to address multiple barriers to employment faced by eligible youth throughout the United States. The current authorization for this program is Title I, Subtitle C, of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, passed on July 22, 2014.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Career Technical Training services and support for the PAINTING TRADES listed in PART 5 SPECIFIC TASKS Section 5.1.2. Centers, Programs and Slots. The NTC shall provide contracted career technical training programs in conformity with the following number of centers (including agency centers), programs, and slots: NTC Awardee Centers: 38, Programs: 44, Slots: 880.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance shall be for one (1) Base Period of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option periods of 12 months each.

The places of performance for this contract include various Job Corps Center locations across the United States.
